Licensing, clearly explained

Do I need a license for every server?

A license includes one or more server activations depending on the plan. Each installation binds to a server instance when you activate it. You can unbind a server from the customer area before moving the license.

Can I install AnitaPanel on any VPS?

Yes. The installer supports fresh Ubuntu and Debian servers with root access. The panel manages Nginx, MariaDB, PHP-FPM, BIND DNS and Let's Encrypt.

What happens when my license expires?

The panel keeps running, but hosting changes are locked until a valid license is restored. Existing websites and data are never deleted because of license expiry.

Are updates really one click?

Yes. The panel checks for signed releases and shows an update banner. Clicking install verifies the release, stages it, switches the application atomically, restarts the service and rolls back automatically if the health check fails.

Can I brand the panel?

Administrators can rename the panel from Settings. The customer portal and licensing system remain branded AnitaPanel.
